TAKE 1. Babe: I want peanut butter without the peanut butter. Me: So, you want air? Space? Time? Boyfriend we birthed a genius, Einstein's double in pocket size. Boyfriend: Did she say she wants peanut butter without the peanut butter? So atoms? Dust particles? Water molecules? Wow, you're right, she's brilliant!
See at our house The Guinness Book of World Records folk and the Child Protective Services folk dine together, you know, minus the peanut butter.

Trees

Our local utility cut down 6 trees in our backyard. Provided some interesting entertainment though as one of the tree climbers was literally 7 feet tall. I know cause I asked cause that's how I roll. Moon blew raspberries at the sounds of the chainsaws humming and Sun pounded on the glass window in a desperate attempt
...we'll say to get folk's attention but it very well could have been to escape which brings me to Babe who has renamed her siblings Lola and Buddy.

My "babies" are ONE!

In the blink of a year 25 folks near and dear to us attended their bday party. Boyfriend baked cakes, I decorated with balloons and our friends and family dined on snacks and sandwiches. When it comes to cute packaged two at a time these two certainly take the cake. Lucky... that's the word of the day. We just feel so lucky.

B U S Y

With getting ready for the kiddos first birthday party (next Saturday), gardening (chainsaw action style), the toy business (all licenses, toys, and packaging are here), and our usual chaos-random (Babe just picked up a third day at preschool), we've been a bit on the busy side. Even chaos needs to put its feet up and take a breath.
I'm just super excited about all of this in general and acting like another giddy kid helps, as does birthday cake recipe perusing while surrounded by knickknacks.
