anybody home? ever?

My computer died and Babe (yes, for this story Babe takes the blame) turned the ringer off on our phone and because folks rarely call we didn't notice... for days. Man we're fun. Sorry mom! But all is well and back to the same rhythm and chaos as per our usual only this weekend it's dipped in family barbecues.
I say "better twins than me" when it comes to room temperature runny peas. Barf, I mean... MMmmmMMM, no really I mean... barf!

  1. I'm with you on the peas at any temperature. So you've been in seclusion? With all that goes on at your house, I guess it takes awhile to notice. :)

  2. Oh that's funny about the ringer on the phone. Peace and quiet, right? Yeah, probably isn't possible at your house...

  3. Don't you hate when that happens? ;)

  4. Did you know that peas have more protein than peanut butter? True story. I call your runny peas and and raise you runny lemon-flavored avocado.

  5. Ugh...I hate that my kids know how to work my phone better than I do. All they do is push the buttons randomly and figure out how to turn on the alarm at 5 different times every. single. day.

  6. Ugh. Peas. Can't do it. I'll take avocado any day. We've been making N. eat our CSA produce, all blended up ... mostly summer squash. That actually tastes pretty good as mush at room temp. :)

  7. At least you have a good reason for not answering the phone. I swear, every time I try and call my brother and his family, NO ONE picks up the phone. EVER. It's so annoying.
