In the depths of night...

I lay there big smiled and ALL. I just listen; listen to the hums and purrs, the snores and coos, and baby monitors attempting to keep up. The subtle sounds of Boyfriend, Babe, Moon and Sun, the cat and the house all settling down into their zzz's. Hands down the most amazing onomatopoeias I've yet to capture.
I have "that child", the kid that has that favorite piece of clothing that THEY MUST WEAR EVERYWHERE even if it's in the pool during swim lessons.

  1. I'll admit I had to look up that word. (No, not "pool!") :)

  6. I love those moments too. I also love the ones where you are the only one home and you listen to the house sounds when no one is there: the clocks ticking, the sound of cars driving by, the air conditioner/heater running, etc.

  7. This is cute. I've never had 'that kid' who had to constantly wear an article of clothing constantly. But I do have 'those kids' as in my twin boys have to have their blankets. They constantly hold them, chew them, bring them everywhere. I never had kids with 'lovies' or extreme attachment to things. My oldest have faves when they were little, but nothing extreme. It's rather cute to me.

I also agree that the skirt is very pretty at least!

  8. Swimming in a skirt! I love the part where the baby monitors are trying to catch up. :)
